Idol Accidentally Reveals Secret Marriage, Child? Here's What Happened

In a live broadcast, a 3rd-gen idol is drawing attention for allegedly revealing his "secret marriage and child" after THIS happened.

On February 19, UNIQ Kim Sung Joo became the talk of the town after various media outlets reported on the speculations that he's hiding a secret wife and son.

As a result, his fans are asking for an official statement from his agency, Yuehua Entertainment.

UNIQ Li Wenhan Exposes Kim Sung Joo's Son?

The rumor sparked when Kim Sung Joo held a live stream to communicate with his fans, Uniqorns.

During the broadcast, the idol excitedly shared with fans the voice message he received from Li Wenhan, a fellow UNIQ member, without checking its content.

At first, the message only contained Li singing "Happy Birthday" to the idol but without thinking that Sung Joo would show it to fans, he unintentionally revealed:

"Has your son gone to bed? If not, (let's) have a video call and let him come hug me."

Upon hearing it, Kim Sung Joo wiped the smile off his face and while looking for the end button, he abruptly turned off the livestream.

Without saying a word, he ended it leaving fans in confusion with his awkward expression towards the end.

Kim Sung Joo's Past Marriage Rumor Resurfaces + Uniqorns Defend Idol

Following the broadcast, this became a hot topic among the fandom.

While some are going to Kim Sung Joo's personal SNS to get the confirmation, there are fans who made their own digging about the idol's alleged hidden wife and son.

Kim Sung Joo debuted in 2014 as a member of UNIQ, a Korean-Chinese K-pop boy group launched by Yuehua Entertainment.

Fans then found out that in 2018, he was rumored to have been married to a Chinese CEO but fans failed to provide a solid proof.

This time, fans revisited his past videos and noticed that there were actually children's toys in his house and a woman's voice believed to be his wife.

On the other hand, some Uniqorns didn't believe this and pointed out not to trust anything on the internet, especially if it came from Li Wenhan.

According to the idol's fans, when they were still actively promoting, Li Wenhan is known for his pranks like this, so they wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be a joke.

However, Uniqorns attested to Kim Sung Joo that they were actually supporting and cheering for him if the rumor turned out to be true.

As of writing, Yuehua Entertainment has yet to comment on this.
