Ex-NCT Member Lucas Opens X (Twitter) Account
Lucas, a former member of NCT and WayV, has opened his own X (formerly Twitter) account. This has sparked debate on whether the once disgraced idol will be making his return to the entertainment industry.
Although the profile picture was not set, it is certified with a blue badge as an authenticated account. Additionally, there is an SM Entertainment affiliated badge indicating that he is an artist under the management company.
This confirms that the account is Lucas's official account.

As of 7:30 AM on February 21, 2024, the account has over 20,000 followers.
Lucas debuted as a member of NCT U in 2018 and gained popularity as a member of WayV and SuperM. While promoting as a member of these groups, Lucas was well-loved and was even earning himself solo endorsement deals.

However, in August 2021, he suspended activities after being embroiled in a controversy. A person claiming to be his ex-girlfriend, A, revealed that she had been gaslighted by Lucas, sparking controversy. Another person also came forward, B, and mentioned a similar situation with A, raising suspicions about Lucas's relationships.

To sum it up, Lucas was accused of cheating, using his ex-girlfriend for money, gaslighting, and sexual assault.
In May of 2023, Lucas announced in a handwritten letter that he would leave both NCT and WayV. His agency, SM Entertainment, also announced that Lucas would continue his activities as a solo artist, showing the label had no plans of abandoning Lucas.

However, since then, aside from posting a photo in December last year, Lucas has not been active. With this move to open his own X account, however, fans can expect the idol to release some news in the future.
