THIS idol made her solo comeback in February, but she's frustrated at her low music video views.
On February 23, K-pop solo singer AleXa finally unveiled her new song, "sick," her comeback track about eight months since her digital single "Juliet" release.
As AleXa is currently promoting in Korea and the U.S., she wrote the lyrics in English to reach more of her global fans.
Despite her efforts, the soloist expressed her dismay at the low reception of her new music video.
AleXa Disappointed With 'Sick' MV Views
AleXa's song "sick" showcases the complexity of relationships, wherein the proponent expresses the feeling of not being qualified to accept love and trust from her partner. In the process of trying to earn those feelings, she finds her own value in an emotional and dramatic way.
As she is known for being an "all-rounder," she impressed her fans with her heavy yet delicate vocals.
The music video is also outstanding, giving viewers an open-ended story that lets them decide what happened to the main characters.
Impressively, in the MV, AleXa also shows off her fighting skills in an artistic way that is beautifully linked to her song.

Unfortunately, despite its brilliance, the idol took to the fandom-communicating platform Bubble to express her frustration about gaining low music video views, barely reaching 100,000 in its first two days.
"Y'all. I'm not a numbers person. I'm really not. The superficial things like that don't bother me. But d**n, not even 100,000 [views] a few days in. I busted my a** for that music video."
Fans Blame AleXa's Agency for Idol's Low MV Views
While they completely understand AleXa's frustration, her dedicated fans (A.I TROOPERs) defended themselves and claimed that they are also doing their best to stream the song.
Fans also implied that if there is someone she should direct her disappointment to, it should be ZB Label, her current Korean agency.
Since her debut as a soloist in 2019, fans claimed that AleXa hasn't received proper promotion, and there has been lack of support in making her music reach a wider audience, such as making her do music shows and TV broadcasts.
Despite this, A.I TROOPERs show their love for the singer by working hard to stream and increase her views. Thanks to their hard work, her "sick" MV has about 160k views and will reach 200k views in no time.
Aside from her supporters, other K-pop fandoms like international CARATs are also lending their help to stream her "sick" music video and also gave AleXa rave reviews.
