In a show, THIS 3rd-gen K-pop boy group revealed that they fought due to line distribution... but it isn't what you think it is.
Earlier on March 15, the K-pop band Day6 appeared as a guest on the YouTube web show, "Halmyungsoo" hosted by the comedian Park Myungsoo.
On this day, the boy group known for their impressive vocals commented on their line distributions, then revealed that it caused their fights sometimes.
Day6 Shares on Avoiding Each Other's Lines
In the released video, Day6 dished on various topics while singing along with 2000s go-to songs in a Karaoke room.
In particular, when MC Myungsoo asked what kind of group Day6 is, Sungjin replied:
"All of the members can write lyrics and songs. All the members are also vocalists."
Hearing his ambitious remark, drummer and maknae Dowoon was perplexed and immediately gave their leader a side-eye.
Park Myungsoo then teased them:
"All the members are vocalists? You can't take it back. If you are all vocalists, don't you fight with each other when doing the line distribution? You won't stay for long."
Young K then revealed that they do fight about part distribution, but hilariously pointed out that it was for a different reason.
"This is how we fight for the parts. Each of us tries to not get the parts. We want to freeload on each other. Just take it all."
Day6 to Release 'FOUREVER' + Concert
Meanwhile, DAY6, which will make its comeback in about three years, responds to the long wait of music fans with various activities including a mini-album & concert.
On March 18, the group will herald a new music era with the release of its eighth mini-album, "FOUREVER" and its title track, "Welcome to the Show."
This will be their first release since its 7th mini-album, "The Book of Us: Negentropy - Chaos Swallowed Up in Love" unveiled in 2021.
The EP will be comprised of eight songs that were written and composed by DAY6 members including the title track "Welcome to the Show," and b-side tracks "HAPPY," "The Power of Love," "Get The Hell Out," "Only Me Sad Ending," "Let Me Love You" and "I Didn't Know That's Your Love."
This was completed with the participation of composer Hong Sang Ji, who was also behind numerous Day6 hits.
Their lead track raised more excitement as popular actor Yoo Seung Ho will appear for a cameo in its official music video, which is expected to maximize fans' immersion.
Following the release of the new album on the 18th, DAY6 will then hold its first concert "DAY6 CONCERT " at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, for three days from April 12 to 14 and meet with fans.
