After a hater crossed the line by obtaining THIS idol's phone number to criticize him, the K-pop star took to SNS for a counterattack.
Hater Calls Out Young Idols for Having 'Easy' Lives With Subpar Skills, Compares Them to Previous Generations
On April 7, NCT Dream Renjun confronted a sasaeng who sent him hateful remarks through the fandom-communicating platform Bubble.
Here, the idol shared a screenshot of his conversation with the hater, followed by his savage reply to them.
In particular, the said sasaeng who illegally obtained Renjun's phone number sent him an invasive message with criticism to the current-gen idols.
They elaborated:
"It has become way too easy for idols to live nowadays. Money is earned left and right by using their looks while they date so freely.
Their live performances are like sh*t, they are thoughtless and they lack the passion of the previous generation. They are too laid back. Just get rid of the phone altogether."

In the screenshot, it can be seen that Renjun confronted the hater and challenged them, saying:
"Don't just hide and type like a rat. If you have something to say to me, contact my lawyer and let's talk face-to-face. Call this person and tell him what you have to say."
NCT Dream Renjun Becomes Voice of K-pop Idols Over Claim They Have Easy Lives
On Bubble, Renjun provided his additional stance regarding claims and stereotypes about K-pop idols, starting with explaining controversies about their skills.
"Idols are human, too, and we also have it hard! Before making such a judgment, have you ever even tried living with a very hectic schedule? Of course, we must show it pretty and beautiful. That is how we all gain energy from each other."
Regarding the accusation that K-pop idols are flaunting their wealth despite getting it the "easy" way, Renjun disagreed with it and said:
"If you pursue your dreams hard enough, money will eventually follow. Is there any work in this world that doesn't earn money?"
Lastly, he begged the hater to stop minding someone else's business and just focus on themselves, emphasizing:
"Let's live our lives properly. Don't mess with people who don't concern you. Stop wasting your time and energy. Instead, learn how to calm your mind and cool down. Stop taking out your frustrations to people you don't know."
In line with this, NCTzens (NCT fandom) then reported the situation to KWANGYA 119 and demanded SM Entertainment to protect its artists' safety and personal information.
The fact that Renjun's phone number was sold off to the sasaeng means that there is a leakage that is happening and fans are deeply protesting for the company to track down who illegally shared it.
