JTBC Launches New Boy Group Audition Program 'Project 7'— Seeks Male Contestants of All Backgrounds

JTBC has announced a groundbreaking venture in the world of idol audition shows with the upcoming launch of 'Project 7'. Teaming up with Studio Slam and Studio SLL, this program promises to bring a fresh and innovative approach to the genre.

'Project 7' introduces a unique concept termed as the 'Assembly-Upgrade Idol Audition'. Viewers will have the power to assemble teams and upgrade their favorite contestants throughout the competition, creating an interactive and game-like experience unlike any other.

Collaboration with Studio Slam and Studio SLL

The program is spearheaded by Studio Slam, known for hit variety shows like 'Sugar Man', 'Sing Again', and 'Peak Time'. Studio SLL's involvement ensures strong financial backing and support for the winning idol group's debut promotions, promising a successful launch for the chosen talents.

Open Auditions for Male Contestants of All Backgrounds

'Project 7' is currently open for auditions to all male individuals, irrespective of age, ethnicity, nationality, trainee status, or prior debut experience. This inclusive approach aims to discover hidden talents and assemble a diverse and dynamic group of contestants.

As 'Project 7' gears up for its grand debut in the second half of 2024, anticipation is high among fans and industry insiders alike.

Meanwhile, VANNER, the final winner of JTBC's 'Peak Time,' is launching its first official fan club named VVS. The fan club's name symbolizes "banner" and "fan" with purity and transparency, drawing from the diamond's top-level brilliance.

Recruitment begins on Melon Ticket website from 12 p.m. today until 11:59 p.m. on the 23rd. The fan club's activities are scheduled to commence from June 24 to June 23 next year, adaptable to the artists' schedules.

VANNER, known for its dedication to fans, emerged victorious in the Peak Time survival program in April and is actively engaging in performances. They are set to perform at the "PEAK TIME" concert "YOUR TIME" at KBS Busan Hall on June 24-25.
