Singer Bibi, known for her unique style and music, recently opened up about her battle with panic symptoms and the impact on her life and career.
During an interview on the YouTube channel 'Jinhanhyeong Shin Dong-yeop,' Bibi revealed the intensity of her struggle with panic.
She confessed, "If I'm upset, it could be extreme... I need medication." Reflecting on the experience, she shared, "I didn't think (panic) would come. I thought it was something that only happened in my head, but this is my body."
Overcoming Challenges and Changing Mindset
Bibi discussed how she dealt with these challenges, stating,
"At that time, I really thought, ‘I could be extreme' if I was really upset."
She highlighted the importance of seeking help and changing her mindset, saying, "I took medicine at the hospital. It also affected my work. I just couldn't think of anything."
She emphasized the need for a positive outlook, adding, "I decided that if I was going to live anyway, I would live happily."
Addressing Misconceptions About Songs
Addressing misconceptions about her music, particularly the song 'Bamyanggaeng,' Bibi clarified,
"Obviously, ‘Bamyanggaeng' has a different meaning, it has a hidden meaning, they say it's a dirty song, but it's not really true."
She explained that the lyrics were written by Jang Ki-ha and emphasized the importance of artistic expression, stating, "I think it's important to be sexy and sweet. I tried to make an album like this."
Recently, BIBI, a rising solo artist, sparked concern among fans after breaking down during a live broadcast on Instagram. She expressed frustration over her hectic schedule, lack of sleep, and basic needs like food and rest.
Despite her viral success, she admitted to feeling overwhelmed and wished she had never become a singer. Fans rallied behind her with the hashtag "#BIBIDESERVESBETTER," urging her label to address the situation. As of now, there has been no response from Feel Ghood Music, the label founded by Tiger JK.
