A Timeline of Unfolding Events
Earlier in 2023, G-Dragon and YG Entertainment had teased fans with the G-Division project, signaling his comeback after a five-year hiatus since the EP "Kwon Jiyong."
However, following the turmoil caused by the drug allegations, G-Dragon announced his departure from YG, citing a desire for a fresh start at Galaxy Corp.
Resilience Amidst Adversity
Undeterred by the setbacks, G-Dragon diligently resumed work on his album, crafting it from scratch under his new label. Galaxy Corp. recently unveiled the long-term schedule for "Dragon," hinting at a comeback in the latter half of 2024, with considerations for a World Tour.
In recent news, the controversy surrounding G-Dragon's alleged relationship with a rumored trainee from THEBLACKLABEL resurfaced after leaked photos of prospective girl group members emerged.
Moon Seo Yoon, known as Annie Moon, attracted attention due to her affluent family background and close ties with YG Entertainment artists. Dating rumors between G-Dragon and Moon sparked in January 2023 when they were seen together at an event, but both Shinsegae and YG Entertainment swiftly denied the speculation.
Despite YG's usual stance of not confirming or denying such rumors, they explicitly denied this one, effectively putting an end to the dating controversy.
