SEVENTEEN The8 Draws Attention For Unique Advice to Fans

SEVENTEEN member The8 is going viral online for the unique advice he gave fans.

SEVENTEEN recently made their much-anticipated comeback with "Best Album: 17 Is Right Here," and the title track, "MAESTRO." To promote their comeback, SEVENTEEN has embarked on several promotional activities, from fan signs to music shows.

On May 12, SEVENTEEN held an on-site fan sign. Out of all the members, it was The8 who caused a stir on social media for his unique advice to fans.

One fan asked The8 how he felt about using an idol's name as a tattoo. Hearing this, The8 automatically disagreed. He offered the fan advice, which immediately went viral online. Fans claimed they felt enlightened due to The8's advice.

He told the fan, "Don't tattoo my name. Don't tattoo any man's name. Whether it's your boyfriend's name or your idol's name. I think you shouldn't tattoo anybody's name at all. If you really want a tattoo, you should get one that is meaningful to you. But I really don't encourage tattooing anyone's name."

CARATs quickly spread the video of The8 on social media. Soon, fans called him "Master Xu" thanks to his wise words, drawing compliments from K-pop fans. Many loved how he not only worried about his own fans but also encouraged self-love. This is notably not the first time he has given his fans profound advice.
