A girl group member was supposedly caught on a date with a man at a baseball stadium.
SECRET NUMBER member Soodam apologized to her fans on the fourth anniversary of her debut after she was seen on a supposed date with an unknown man. The two were caught on broadcast, with the cameras focusing on them at one part of the event.

On May 19, 2024, Soodam reached out to her fans, saying, "I'm sorry if I surprised you on what should have been a happy fourth anniversary."
However, she clarified that she was not on a date and that the man she was with was not her boyfriend. Soodam explained, "He is a friend I've known since high school. We are definitely not in the kind of relationship that fans might suspect."

Despite clarifying that they are not dating, Soodam still apologized for the situation, saying, "I'm sorry for creating a situation that could lead to misunderstandings. It seems I have disappointed the fans not just by who I was with but by my actions, and I am reflecting on that."
The idol ensured that she would be more careful in the future, stating, "I should have been more careful with my actions and considered the fans' feelings more. I am truly sorry and will be more cautious and work harder to ensure this doesn't happen again."

On May 19, Soodam was spotted at a professional baseball game between the Doosan Bears and the Lotte Giants at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul. The idol was seen with an unknown man, who many speculated to be the female idol's boyfriend. Since the sighting occurred on the fourth anniversary of SECRET NUMBER's debut, many accused Soodam of deceiving the fans.
However, it was clarified that the man was not her boyfriend but a male friend she had known since high school, which seemed to settle the controversy.
