THIS Fifth-Gen Male Idol Draws Attention For Adorable Interaction With NewJeans

A fifth-generation male idol is drawing attention for his interaction with NewJeans.

On May 24, 2024, the latest episode of "Music Bank" aired. There, NewJeans appeared on the music program to promote their latest release, "How Sweet," which was released on the same day. The song was released at 3 PM, meaning it had not been that long since the song was made public.

For this airing of "Music Bank," ZEROBASEONE member Zhang Hao took on the role of Special MC. Having Zhang Hao as an MC excited fans, as the idol is a well-known K-pop fan. Back in January 2024, a video of Zhang Hao dancing to "Baddie" during an award show went viral, showing how enthusiastic the ZEROBASEONE member is to K-pop, and girl groups in particular.

As Special MC, Zhang Hao interacted with several groups. He impressed fans by performing the dance break of "Supernova" with aespa and even drew laughter from the members after his glasses fell off his head as he danced.

However, it was his interaction with NewJeans that drew the most attention.

During NewJeans's interview portion, the chorus of their song played, and the members performed the choreography of "How Sweet." However, Zhang Hao stole people's attention. Standing next to them, the male idol shocked fans by perfectly dancing to the choreography alongside NewJeans!

Since the song came out mere hours before the airing, many are shocked at how fast Zhang Hao picked up the choreography. Others joked that this showed how big of a Bunnie (NewJeans fan) Zhang Hao is.

Others were impressed by the fact that Zhang Hao showed no hesitation in dancing a girl group choreography, loving how he made no effort to make the dance more "masculine."

In other news, ZEROBASEONE took home their third music show trophy for "Feel the POP" on "Music Bank" on this same day. The boy group was up against aespa's "Supernova" for the win. ZEROBASEONE ultimately took first place with 13,101 points, while aespa ranked second with 4,569 points.
