In a recent revelation on a YouTube show hosted by Super Junior's RyeoWook, K-pop star BELLE from KISS OF LIFE confessed to harboring a deep dislike for the Super Junior member during her younger years.

During the May 28 episode, RyeoWook reminisced about his past performance alongside BELLE's father, renowned singer Shim Shin. The conversation took an unexpected turn when RyeoWook revealed that he had triumphed over Shim Shin in a duet on MBC's "King of Mask Singer" in 2016.

In a moment of surprise, BELLE confessed, "I used to hate you so much!" Her candid revelation left both RyeoWook and viewers stunned as she recounted how her dislike for the Super Junior member stemmed from her father's loss on the singing competition show.

Recalling her fifth-grade self, BELLE recounted how she boasted to her classmates about her father's appearance on "King of Mask Singer," only to be disappointed when Shim Shin was eliminated, courtesy of RyeoWook. Unaware of RyeoWook's identity at the time, BELLE nursed a grudge against the "ajussi" who thwarted her father's progress.

Despite the past resentment, BELLE graciously put the animosity behind her and requested RyeoWook to perform their duet from the competition. In a heartwarming gesture, RyeoWook acquiesced, serenading BELLE with the song that once sparked her ire.

Moved by RyeoWook's performance, BELLE's resentment melted away, replaced by admiration for his exceptional vocal prowess. "Your singing voice is truly beautiful. I feel honored to have heard you sing right in front of me," she remarked, acknowledging the talent that once fueled her childhood grudge.

In recent news, KISS OF LIFE Belle,a member of the upcoming girl group debuting in July, surprises fans with her connection to famous 90s pop idol Shim Shin.

Belle, also known as Shim Hye Won, is Shim Shin's daughter. Despite her celebrity lineage, Belle has been pursuing music on her own and is recognized for her songwriting and composing skills.
