University students revealed the 3 reasons LE SSERAFIM isn't attending any event this school festival season.
In April and May, high school and college festivals are being held in various South Korean universities. As a result, they are busy trying to secure an invitation for the hottest K-pop girl groups to perform for the students, such as IVE, aespa, NMIXX, and NewJeans.
In terms of popularity, LE SSERAFIM is one of the most popular fourth-gen girl groups, but fans wonder why they are yet to attend any festival.
On May 29 then, a post about the quintet was uploaded on Nate Pann, which has now over 205k views and 1k recommendations.
The OP speculated why the group isn't present in school festivals, saying:
"They can't go to college festivals by themselves. There are girl groups like NMIXX and (G)I-DLE who already finished their promotions but are still attending events, but the reason (LE SSERAFIM) couldn't go was due to the worsening public opinion after their Coachella disaster.
And... they can't sing live...they are idols that were never been seen before, really."
In the comment section then testimonies about why the group hasn't attended events so far surfaced, with one saying that the student body "rejected" LE SSERAFIM.

"I'm currently serving the student council in my current school. There were about two members who recommended LE SSERAFIM to sing, but they were immediately rejected because they were asked why would they sing if they couldn't do it live."
Another reason students are avoiding them, according to netters, was due to Eunchae's controversial remark about high school students.
"After making fun of high school seniors, if they think about coming to college festivals, I'll be shocked."
On the flip side, there are students who claimed that they invited LE SSERAFIM, but were rejected by their label, due to the group's upcoming comeback.
"We invited LE SSERAFIM but they refused. I heard they declined because they were working on an album and had a busy schedule. But personally, I think they refused because they were scared that they would be compared to other idols due to their live singing controversy."
Regarding the comeback, Source Music confirmed this and told Xports News:
"We are working hard to prepare for a comeback."
Fans also emphasized that the group isn't in Korea right now, but is actively doing their activities in Japan, hence their absence from university festivals.
