J's new look is trending across the internet!
STAYC debuted on November 12, 2020, with their first single album "Star To A Young Culture," and its title track "SO BAD." While the group received attention for their dazzling concept and catchy music, they also gained buzz due to their visuals.
Particularly, STAYC's youngest member J was popularly known for her deep voice and adorable bob hair.
The look became so iconic, she eventually became one of the group's stan attractors and was even recognized as the "girl with short hair" among K-pop fans.
This kind of styling for J gradually continued throughout STAYC's promotions and comebacks because of how great it looked for the idol. In eras such as "ASAP," "STEREOTYPE," "RUN2U," "BEAUTIFUL MONSTER," and "POPPY," fans have been consistently served by J's visuals in her short hair.
However, when STAYC released their single "Teddy Bear" on February 14, 2023, J decided to give a new look a go by opting for longer hair, which went with extensions. This look stunned SWITHs because of how gorgeous J looked in the styling.
In the remaining months of 2023, J has since slayed the long hair during STAYC's comeback with "Bubble," "LIT," and their first-ever world tour "TEENFRESH." That is until May 2024, when STAYC was announced to have a July comeback.
On May 31, several photos spread on platform X (Twitter) showing STAYC at the Incheon International Airport, where they will be departing for Hong Kong in line with the upcoming "Waterbomb 2024."
While all the members looked striking in their casual fits, SWITHs were overjoyed to see the iconic short-haired J back!
