A former survival show contestant has confessed to allegations of him sleeping with an underage middle school girl.

Back in March, "Fantasy Boys" contestant Hinata left the show following accusations that he had inappropriate relations with a minor. According to the accuser, Hinata displayed inappropriate behavior while he was a popular TikToker.

It was stated that Hinata had sexual relations with a middle school girl while he was a high school sophomore. Other sources claimed that they were dating. Allegedly, the two had sex without a condom because the girl had a latex allergy.

At the time, Hinata was likely around 16-17 years old, while the girl would have been around 13-15 years old.

Hinata had initially denied the allegations but later confessed to a portion of the rumor. Now the former K-pop idol aspirant has revealed the allegations to be true.

In his statement, he acknowledged the hurt and disappointment he caused due to his immaturity and stated that he was selfish at the time. Since the scandal, Hinata states he has taken the time to reflect on his past behavior.

He confessed to avoiding his past and refusing to face it but has now realized he must confront what happened to move forward. Hinata then apologized for his actions.

His whole statement reads,

Reflection and Apology for Past Actions

A few years ago, I caused a lot of disappointment and hurt to those who supported me at the time because of my immature behavior. At the time, I was too immature and selfish. I want to reflect deeply once again and sincerely apologize. Until now, I have avoided facing my past. But I believe that to move forward, I must confront my past. That is why I decided to send this message. I know that regaining the trust I lost won't be easy, but I will strive diligently to show sincerity to you all.

"Fantasy Boys" was a 2023 survival show that aired on MBC. It is a spin-off and sequel to the survival show "My Teenage Girl," which featured female contestants. "Fantasy Boys' consisted of just male contestants.

The goal of the show is to debut a 12-member group. The final group, named Fantasy Boys, consists of Soul, Kang Minseo, Lee Hanbin, Hikari, Ling Qi, Hikaru, Kim Wooseok, Hong Seongmin, Oh Hyeontae, Kim Gyurae, and Kaeedan.
