EXO Suho Breaks Silence On CBX-SM's Legal Dispute: 'As Leader, I'm Most Sorry For The Fans'

The EXO leader made headlines for revealing his take regarding the ongoing conflict between EXO-CBX and SM Entertainment.

Earlier on June 10, EXO-CBX held a press conference to report SM Entertainment's unfair treatment. It also revealed that the agency had allegedly demanded a sales portion from the members' personal activities.

Eventually, SM retaliated by accusing EXO-CBX of distorting facts and denying their claims.

On June 17, Korean news outlets released a report containing an interview with Suho. The report shared that the leader had apologized to Eris about the legal dispute between EXO-CBX and SM.

The interview took place at SM's office building, in Seongsi-dong, Seoul, earlier on June 14. According to sources, Suho revealed how surprised he was both surprised and embarrassed upon reading the news about EXO-CBX's press conference.

Suho then followed up his apologies to the fans of EXO, as well as disclosed that the other members were also enduring the conflict's effects.

"I was very surprised and embarrassed when I read the articles about the press conference," Suho shared. "As a leader, I feel the most sorry for the fans."

The leader added, "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience and the rest of the members are also suffering from heartache."

Suho continued:

"We had a similar problem last year, 2023, and three of the members ran into legal problems with the company, so I'm worried about the fans' feelings. The rest of the members also want to apologize to fans."

Suho was also asked regarding EXO's future activities, and the leader replied:

"I couldn't help but see the reaction of our fans. I think they were more surprised than we were and they were hurting. I really felt their feelings in the posts, which really hurt my heart. It hurt me even more and I wanted to make sure to apologize to them.

I'm taking this opportunity to tell them that. Not only me but the rest of the members also feel sorry for the fans due to the incident. Sehun and Kai are going to be discharged next year. We were already preparing a winter album and we're still discussing our activities in 2025.

I really want to give the fans music without a hitch, but I'm worried."
