Top 10 Most Streamed K-pop Artists On MelOn Of All Time: BTS, EXO, IU, Lim Young Woong, More!

On social media platform X (Twitter), netizens concluded a poll, which contained the Top 10 most streamed K-pop artists on MelOn, one of South Korea's biggest music platforms.

1.    BTS

BTS secured the No. 1 spot with 13.09 billion streams on the music platform. Ever since their debut in 2013, BTS has become an inspiration to many fans, trainees, and new idols in the K-pop industry.

The septet has amazed everyone with their music, which resonates with many listeners and captures their hearts with its sincerity, emotional depth, and relatable contexts.

As the biggest K-pop group in the world, BTS has consistently dominated music platforms domestically and internationally. Despite six members being in the military, and Jin having been discharged this June, BTS still proved their everlasting impact on the music scene.

2.    Lim Young Woong

Lim Young Woong followed second on the rankings, as the soloist managed to garner 9.9 billion streams on MelOn. K-pop fans know too well how fearsome the soloist is every time he announces a comeback.

On the streaming charts, Lim Young Woong is a force to be reckoned with due to his strong core fanbase, earnest music, and live performances. The singer has released wonderful bops such as "Polaroid," "HERO," "LONDON BOY," and "My Starry Love."

3.    EXO

"Nation's Pick" EXO made it in No. 3 after gaining 8.45 billion streams on MelOn. The year 2012 was a gold mine for many longtime K-pop fans since they witnessed the greatness of EXO first-hand.

The boy group has released K-pop classics such as 'Growl," "Mama," "Wolf," "CALL ME BABY," "Love Shot," "The Eve," "Tempo," "Monster," and many more.

4.    IU

Meanwhile, the "Nation's Little Sister" and "Nation's Sweetheart" IU ranked No. 4. According to the poll, the lovely idol-actress made it with a figure of 8.28 billion streams on MelOn, which only emphasizes her power and reputation as a chart monster in domestic music platforms.

Longtime and new fans are both drawn towards IU due to the truthfulness she puts out in her music, her humble personality, and her amazing live performances!

5.    SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN placed on No. 5 after receiving 4.48 billion streams on the platform since the group has been gaining love for their catchy songs and powerful stages.
