KATSEYE is drawing attention for cursing during their live stream, not knowing the fans could hear them.
On June 29, a post titled "Bang Sihyuk's new girl group swearing refreshingly not knowing that the live has already started" was shared with Instiz, one of the most popular South Korean online community forums.
In the post, the original author included a tweet featuring a video of the situation.
As the girls are getting ready for the live stream, someone behind the camera - likely Sophia, who is the only member not in the frame and their leader - tells the girls to "let everything out." Soon after, Daniela and Manon immediately start swearing, repeatedly saying "F*ck," "Sh*it," and "B*tch."
In another moment, Daniela is heard telling Manon, "F*ck, I think I'm gonna sh*t my pants," alluding to how nervous she was feeling.
The post soon went viral, with Korean netizens finding the situation highly amusing. It was noted that it's amazing they already had an iconic moment so quickly after their debut. Others pointed out that foreigners are not as sensitive to swear words, so the group will likely not face any negative backlash for the situation.
