Rapper Lil Snupe Killed After Being Shot In Louisiana: The 18-Year-Old Just Signed To Be On Meek Mills's Record Label [VIDEO]

Rapper Lil Snupe killed after being shot twice on Thursday in Winnfield, Louisiana. He was 18-years-old and died inside an apartment building.

The rapper Lil Snupe killed pre-dawn when he was shot in the torso, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene. There hasn't been an established motive for the killing yet, the police said. They are on the look for an unidentified "person of interest."

Real name Addarren Ross, rapper Lil Snupe killed after recently signing a deal with fellow rapper Meek Mill's Dream Chasers label. The record label was created in October and Lil Snupe was set to join Louie V Gutta, Lee Mazin, Jahlil Beats and Goldi as members of the roster on the record label.

Meek Mills and Lil Snupe met at Grambling State University last year during a tour stop. Lil Snupe passed his demo along to the Maybach Music MC, and he made quite an impression because he was signed to the MMG rapper's imprint, Dream Chasers, almost immediately, according to MTV News.

"He was in a van, they was finna pull off. And I went and knocked on the van, on the window. They let the window down, grabbed the mixtape and it was like 10 minutes later, 20 minutes later they called me," Snupe recalled to MTV News when we caught up with him in February during NBA All-Star Weekend.

Mills shared his condolences via Twitter.

"R.I.P 2 my lil f---ing ni--a #lilsnupe I tried everything in my power 2 get that kid out of the streets!" Meek Mills wrote in a tweet before he deleted it. The Philly MC went on to add another "RIP" with a link to an Instagram of the pair smiling.

Rick Ross did the same.

"RIP Lil Snupe #Neverforgotten," Ross, the founder of Maybach Music, which Mills is under, tweeted.
