After some netizens claimed BLACKPINK Lisa's popularity in South Korea was wavering, the "ROCKSTAR" songstress proved them wrong!
On July 14, 2024, Lisa attended a pop-up event promoting her solo single "ROCKSTAR" at Hyundai Shopping Center in Seoul, Korea. Even on the event's second day, the shopping center was full of fans eager to see BLACKPINK's youngest member. Reports from those present stated that the crowd filled three floors of the shopping center, all hoping to catch a glimpse of Lisa.
As soon as Lisa made her appearance, the fans erupted in excitement, cheering and screaming for the BLACKPINK member. The enthusiastic response prompted Lisa to signal for everyone to remain calm and avoid pushing to prevent injuries.
This turnout at the first event organized by LLOUD, Lisa's company, effectively shut down any rumors that Lisa was no longer popular in Korea. Previously, after the release of June "ROCKSTAR," the single did not achieve high rankings on the Korean charts, leading to speculation that she had been "abandoned" by her fans in South Korea despite debuting in the country's biggest girl group.

However, the overwhelming turnout at the two pop-up events proved otherwise. Additionally, a detail that caught the online community's attention was Lisa holding a box of toys from the Pop Mart brand, which was gifted to her by a fan. Besides the currently popular Labubu toy, Lisa was seen with a "Crybaby Sunset Concert" toy, which is equally sought after by collectors.
Many fans are now concerned that the price of this toy will skyrocket due to Lisa's influence, making it even harder to purchase at a reasonable price.

Sadly, despite the success of her song, Lisa is currently facing allegations that her music video plagiarizied Travis Scott's "FE!N" music video. Lisa has not responded to the allegations.
