The members of the YG Entertainment girl group BABYMONSTER shared their diet tips.
On June 16, 2024, BABYMONSTER appeared as guests on SBS PowerFM's "Park So Hyun's Love Game."
While listening to BABYMONSTER's "DREAM," DJ Park So Hyun asked, "Isn't there a trainee video included in the music video for this song? You were younger then, right?"
Rora responded, “When we have fan meetings, that video plays in the background. We watch it during rehearsals and say, ‘There I am!’ and ‘Wow, my tears are coming!’ It’s a cherished memory,” she laughed.
Park So Hyun then asked, "That was when you were working hard towards your debut. What would you like to say to your younger self if you could go back?"
Ruka replied, “When I watch that video now, I think, ‘I should have lost more weight.’ If I had taken better care of myself back then..." Her statement prompted the members to wave their hands in dismissal and say, “You're already so thin.”
The members also shared their diet tips. Ruka said, “Avoiding salty foods is good. I loved Korean food back then, like doenjang-jjigae (Korean soybean paste stew) and galbitang (Beef short ribs soup), and I ate a lot of it, but now I refrain from eating it. I also try not to snack too much."
Rora added, “I’ve been trying a blood sugar control diet lately. I saw many people drinking apple cider vinegar, so I tried it, but it doesn't taste good,” she commented. Park So Hyun advised, “I’m doing that too. Eating vegetables and then something sweet later is better for your body, so I recommend continuing it."
