A fifth-generation girl group member is going viral because of her ability to communicate with dogs.
In episode 429 of "Knowing Brothers," YG Entertainment's monster rookie group BABYMONSTER made a special guest appearance. Engaging in conversations with the show's hosts, the fifth-generation girl group impressed everyone with their live singing, dancing, and various talents.

Among them, the eldest member, Ruka, caused quite a stir with her ability to imitate dog sounds. While speaking with the hosts of "Knowing Brothers," Ruka revealed her unique talent for mimicking puppy sounds. When she demonstrated her skill, everyone was amazed at how accurately she replicated the sound. It was so convincing that even a small dog, upon hearing Ruka's barking, ran straight to her, mistaking it for a real puppy.

On social media, many were astonished by Ruka's talent and admitted that if they hadn't seen the clip, they would have thought it was an actual puppy. The clip of Ruka imitating dog sounds has gone viral on several social media platforms, such as YouTube and X (formerly Twitter).

Ruka is one of two Japanese members of BABYMONSTER. Born in 2002, she joined YG Entertainment in 2018 and debuted at the age of 20 as the eldest member of the group. Ruka spent five years as a trainee, honing her dancing and rapping skills.
From the monthly evaluations, Ruka made a strong impression on Yang Hyun Suk and choreographer Lee Jung with her rapping skills, earning the nickname "little Jennie," and her impressive choreography. Since debuting with BABYMONSTER, Ruka has continued to win the hearts of K-pop fans with her talent, professionalism, and charming personality.
In other news, BABYMONSTER released the digital single "FOREVER" on July 1. The song serves as a pre-release to their upcoming full-length studio album. Additionally, the girl group is currently finishing up their first fan meeting tour, "BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE." The girls performed in Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, and South Korea.
Due to their fan meeting tour in Asia, the YG Entertainment girl group entered "arena-class" venues just 40 days after their debut. Their Tokyo stop sold out all 26,000 tickets.
