THIS rising actress confessed that prior to acting, she dreamt of becoming the 10th member of "Nation's Girl Group" SNSD.

On July 18, actress and variety entertainer Ji Ye Eun was invited to the recent web show on the YouTube channel, Chimchakman.

However, she expressed her desire to join SNSD, rather than joining a rookie team. Ji explained:

"When I was in the first year of high school, I really liked Girls' Generation. I graduated from middle and high school and my dream at the time was to become a member of Girls' Generation. I had strange thoughts back then.

It's not that I'm pushing anyone out, but my dream was to become the 10th member of Girls' Generation. Super Junior did it, too. It was just a little girl's dream."

As the interview went on, she was asked if she had a plan of "which sisters she should be close with" if she were to become a member of Girls' Generation, she answered:

"I didn't have a plan. I just wanted to be close to everyone. If I were to become the youngest, I would be the youngest. I wanted to be close with the sisters as the youngest. I'm a fan, so I thought I would be so happy."

Ye Eun also refuted that she doesn't have a favorite member because she has her bias in every music era and she likes all nine original members.

"I can't choose. Girls' Generation is complete when they're together. I liked different sisters for each album. I liked Tiffany for 'Into the New World,' Yuri for 'Genie,' and Yoona for 'Oh!'"

Despite this desire, Ye Eun wasn't able to grant her wish for various reasons. First, SNSD didn't look for an additional member like Super Junior.

"However, unfortunately, Girls’ Generation didn’t have any additional recruitment notices, so I didn’t even have a chance to apply."

Also, she criticized herself, saying:

"And I can't dance. I thought I was a good dancer, but I'm a frog in a well.  I went to a dance academy, and everyone was so good at dancing. That’s when I realized."

Meanwhile, Ji Ye Eun was born in 1994, while the maknae of SNSD, Seohyun, was born in 1991. After her initial dream didn't come true, Ye Eun became an actress and drew attention for her works such as, "HOW-TO" and "Yellow."

She is also well-known as an entertainer for a variety of programs like, "The Ultimate Watchlist," "Saturday Night Live Korea" and "Midnight Horror Story 4."
