NewJeans Danielle's Message to ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin Sparks Concern: 'She Groomed These Kids'
In SNS, NewJeans Danielle raised concerns from K-Netz and K-pop fans after ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin shared the idol's private letter on her Instagram.
On July 31, CEO Min took to her social media account to upload a handwritten letter she received from the young idol.
Danielle thanked the CEO in the letter as NewJeans commemorated their 2nd debut anniversary. The member only has positive words about Min and even describes how she influenced her and the group as their "true mother" and "amazing warrior."

While many Korean netters were touched by Danielle's warm message and admired the adorable relationship between the idol and their CEO, international K-pop fans were tilting their heads in concern and disgust.
While Min's intention in posting the letter could be pure, many web commenters accused her of using NewJeans to shield her from negative comments amid her several disputes with HYBE, ADOR's parent label.
Fans claim that Min is hiding behind the backs of the members by publicizing their trust and loyalty to her instead of protecting them so that they won't be involved further.

Another concern of K-pop fans was the claim that Min "groomed" the members into thinking that NewJeans is "nothing without her."
In Danielle's letter, she emphasized how Min would always be there for them and implied that she wanted to return the favor by being with her no matter her path.
"I feel strong and grateful to have such an adult and such an amazing person by my side! I'm sure you go through many hardships every day that I don't even know about, but when you only show us your loving side, it breaks my heart and makes me shed tears!

Seeing this remark, I-Netz was frustrated that the members were willing to go down with the CEO despite their glorious careers.
Fans are explaining that the members worked so hard as trainees to become what they are now, and they will most likely achieve it even without Min.
This statement was strengthened by the revelation that the concept and song of the group had already been settled even when they were still Source Music trainees. As a result, K-pop stans are extending their regrets and hopes for NewJeans to be freed from Min Hee Jin's "manipulation" & "grooming."
