TWICE's MISAMO (Mina, Sana, and Momo) snapped a photo with a former K-pop idol, and the interaction is going viral on social media.
TWICE successfully concluded their two concerts of their "Ready to Be" concerts at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, Japan. With these performances, TWICE made history as the first female K-pop group to perform at Japan's largest stadium. They also became the first foreign female artists to grace this prestigious stage.
The concerts drew an estimated 140,000 attendees over the two nights, showcasing the immense popularity of the girl group in Japan. In addition to their successful concerts, TWICE's Japanese sub-unit MISAMO is gearing up a comeback. MISAMO is set to return on October 30 with their second mini-album, following a successful debut in Japan in July 2023.
A recent photo of the three MISAMO members with a former K-pop star is garnering attention online. Former PENTAGON member Yuto attended TWICE's concert in Japan and shared photos with MISAMO on his personal social media account. With his mature appearance and beard, fans commented that Yuto looks like an uncle standing next to the MISAMO members.
However, the surprising truth is that Yuto, born in 1998, is actually younger than Sana and Momo, who were born in 1996, and Mina, who was born in 1997. This unexpected twist has shocked many netizens, as they had no idea that Yuto is TWICE's junior in both age and career.
Yuto Adachi, born on January 23, 1998, in Japan, officially debuted with PENTAGON in 2016 under CUBE Entertainment. In October 2023, Yuto and several other PENTAGON members chose not to renew their contracts with CUBE, though they confirmed that PENTAGON did not disband. Yuto has since signed with a new management company and primarily operates in Japan.
While he is still technically a member of PENTAGON, the chances of him joining the group seem slim. After he returned to Japan, co-member Hongseok revealed that Yuto had blocked all the members and cut off all contact with them. It is unknown why he did so.
PENTAGON's last official Korean comeback was on January 24, 2022. The boy group release their twelfth mini-album, "In:vite U," and the lead single, "Feelin' Like."
