Though she has apologized, the scandal has barely died, and interest in the idol remains rampant. Following this significant scandal, Jennie has limited her social media activity.

Her two most recent Instagram stories were birthday wishes for two long-time employees. Many believe that Jennie's gesture was intended to show that her accusations of abusing her fame and power are false, countering the online narrative following the smoking controversy.

However, Jennie's posts sparked further debate among netizens. Recently, Jaemin, the Creative Director of ODD ATELIER, faced a barrage of criticism from Jennie's fans, accusing him of neglecting his work and treating business trips as leisure. The intense backlash led him to restrict comments on his personal Instagram page.
