In an online community, 52-year-old Bang Si Hyuk met the rage of K-pop fans after he was caught hanging out with camgirl/BJ Juicy Seyeon, who's only 24 years old.
On August 8, a viral video circulated online where the HYBE Founder and "BTS & LE SSERAFIM father" was spotted walking on the streets of Beverly Hills with 2 Afreeca TV BJs.
The video was taken in July by a YouTube channel filming people walking in Los Angeles, but it belatedly spread after keen-eyed viewers recognized Bang Si Hyuk.
While there is no problem if the leader of a top-tier company is hanging out with women, K-pop fans raised concerns after identifying the girls' identities with him.According to reports, the one with short hair at the left is Juicy Seyeon, a popular BJ on Afreeca TV who is infamous for her racy videos. In front of the webcam, she would do sexy dances and other suggestive gestures in exchange for sponsorship money.
Meanwhile, the other girl they were with was Seyeon's older sister, also known for being a female cam BJ.What perplexed Netters the most was learning that Seyeon was born in 2000 and just turned 24 this year. She is already an adult, but internet users are skeptical about her relationship with Bang, who is 52 years old.
Speculations that he is dating Seyeon were running wild, web commenters started digging for evidence. While the female BJ remained silent and turned off her comment section on Instagram, her recently uploaded photo from LA suggested that Bang brought them to a fancy lunch at a luxurious Malibu restaurant.
There is also curiosity about whether his supposedly meeting with Seyeon concerns why the HYBE Chairman bought a $26.5M-worth luxury mansion on Bel Air Stradella Road in LA.
Here are some of K-Netz' comments:
- "He's so disgusting."
- "Who would have thought I would see him hanging out with BJs around his daughter's age."
- "Are they dating?"
- "Why is he hanging out with a 00-liner?"
- "Isn't he already 52 years old?"
- "There is a reason why his female idols always have sexy outfits."
When this controversy reached the media, HYBE immediately shut down rumors with an official statement, explaining:
"(Bang Si Hyuk) met the older of the two women by chance at a gathering of acquaintances, and gave her advice on how to respond to entertainment fraudsters.
After that, when the two came to LA together, they asked about tourist attractions and restaurants, so we made reservations, and guided them."
Aside from being a BJ, Juicy Seyeon also made her name known among Koreans after her appearance in Netflix's original entertainment show, "The Influencer." Before suddenly leaving the live-streaming world, the BJ revealed that her annual income is $2.18M.
