G-Dragon and 2NE1 crumbs! During the legendary girl group's concert in Seoul, the BIGBANG leader caught the attention of fans for his message to former YG labelmates. Is he also present at the event?
On Oct. 4th, 2NE1 held their "2024 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL" at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
This show marked the end of their concert hiatus after 10 years and 6 months, and it is also a gift to BLACKJACKs (fandom) in celebration of their 15th debut anniversary.
As a result, not only fandom communities were delighted by their comeback but the whole K-pop industry. During the concert, numerous A-list stars like IU, NewJeans, IVE, TWICE, aespa, Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, KISS OF LIFE, BOYNEXTDOOR, and Zico sent their congratulatory videos.
2NE1's juniors from YG Entertainment also left them messages, such as BABYMONSTER and TREASURE.
But among them, the congratulatory message that made fans scream at the top of their lungs came from the "King of K-pop" G-Dragon, who is a really close friend of the team.
But rather than heartfelt words, GD made the most GD message and in between his claps, he briefly congratulated 2NE1 and randomly shot them with finger hearts.
Despite almost saying nothing, K-pop stans were smiling from ear to ear that GD agreed to film a video just for his beloved group.
During the concert, it also became a hot topic after fans claimed that the BIGBANG member also attended the concert.
In a video, G-Dragon was supposedly sitting in the crowd wearing a bucket hat, but after seeing it, VIPs refuted that it was the male icon.
