Miami Heats $100K Bar Tab Paid For: When The Mavericks Celebrated There, They Had To Pony Up [VIDEO]

Miami Heat $100K bar tab is paid for by club owner as the Heat celebrated their back-to-back NBA championship Thursday night.

LeBron James and the rest of the team was coming off the game-seven victory over the San Antonio Spurs by taking over Story Nightclub, so the Miami Heats $100K bar tab happened in a celebratory fashion.

David Grutman owns Story Nightclub and owns the location of the Heats celebration last year. He didn't mind making matters sweeter for the team that just came off winning the Larry O'Brien trophy. The Miami Heats $100K bar tab was paid for by Grutman.

"I'm not going to charge the Heat," Grutman told ESPN of the $100,000 value of comped alcohol.

Grutman's other place, LIV, was where the Heat celebrated a year ago and it was also where the Dallas Mavericks celebrated after they defeated the Heat two years ago. When they won, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban had to pay up for the spending spree at LIV.

"We were in the back because his credit card was denied," Grutman told ESPN. "So he called up the people at the Centurion Card and said, 'This is Mark Cuban. We just won the championship. Can I please spend some money?'"

A popular South Beach delivered food to the Heat at their hotel, following the championship victory.
