The committee of the highly anticipated 1st Korea Grand Music Awards has announced details regarding the show's exciting performances from a star-studded K-pop artist lineup, including fourth-gen leader NewJeans.
On November 8, Korean news outlet Ilgan Sports reported that the KGMA Organizing Committee shared that a total of 30 artists will be performing around 100 songs under the theme of "Birth of the Galaxy."
The event's first day on the 16th, also known as "Artist Day," will feature a huge number of special performances that will further fuel the anticipation of fans.
According to the outlet, NewJeans is planning to deliver a special performance containing themes of "freedom" and "liberation."
Many other beloved K-pop acts will take center stage at the awards show, including SHINee Taemin, who will be gracing the venue with a strong performance that matches the event's theme.
Lee Youngji and EXO D.O will also perform a collaboration, while TVXQ is set to present a charismatic stage that also reflects their two-decade career. ZEROBASEONE and (G)I-DLE are also scheduled to perform their hits at the KGMA.
