NewJeans' fandom Bunnies have taken legal action against BELIFT LAB's CEO and executives.
In collaboration with a legal counsel, Team Bunnies shared on November 18 that a criminal lawsuit against the agency's CEO Kim Taeho, Visual Director Heo, and Performance Director Myung was being prepared.
The post tackled several points mentioning plagiarism allegations, media play, and the company's lack of accountability. Read the full statement below:
"We will provide updates on the complaint process soon," the statement furthered. "Additionally, we inform you that the first case against HYBE, Source Music, and Dispatch, as well as the second case against Kim Joo-young, Lee Do-kyung, Park Tae-hee, and Cho Sung-hoon, have been consolidated and are currently under investigation as of November 15."
