Christmas season means giving thanks, new projects, New Year's Resolutions, and BLACKPINK's Jennie can't wait to share her latest projec -- her debut solo album -- with fans.

In a holiday message on her official website, the singer gave fans a seasonal greeting via a photo of a handwritten card as well as an update on the album.

"Dear... Thank you for making this year so special. As this year comes to an end, I want to take a moment to say that I am so grateful for your unconditional love, support, and encouragement. You've been the reason for so many unforgettable memories, and I will cherish every little moment we had together this year," she wrote.

"My album is finally coming along and I can't wait to share it with you guys soon. Here's to more exciting moments, growth, and love in the coming year. Wishing you a beautiful holiday season with all my love."

While the singer has yet to announce the title of the highly anticipated album, she dished in an interview with Harper's Bazaar about the music she's been working on.

Much like groupmate ROSÉ, who released her debut album Rosie on December 6, Jennie promised fans a glimpse at a different side of her and evidence of self-growth "to understand and stick [up] for who you are."

"You should be you. It might not seem as glamorous as who you were," she said to Bazaar. "Blackpink Jennie will always be a part of me, but you will also get to experience this new side."

The singer reassured fans that it won't be anything too different from what they're used to.

"I don't want to lose their trust," she explained. "It is so important for me to have my culture, and everyone around the world, love me."

The album will be released through OA, which stands for ODD ATELIER, the music label Jennie launched in November 2023 since splitting from YG Entertainment for individual activities.

While Jennie didn't confirm or deny the involvement of famed K-pop producer Teddy Park, the idol hinted that fans may see him play a hand, music or otherwise.

"If there is anyone in the world that I ask for any music advice, it would be Teddy," she said.

Jennie did, however, confirm that the album will feature multiple genres and will be recorded primarily in English.
