While numerous doors opened this year for new idols, some also closed chapters after their respective groups disbanded.
Here are K-pop groups that disbanded in 2024.

Cherry Bullet was one of the rising girl groups from FNC Entertainment until they parted ways in April.
While Haeyoon, Jiwon, Remi, and May left the label, members Yuju, Bora, and Chaerin decided to pursue their solo activities under the same label.
3YE
In 2019, the trio — Yuji, Yurim, and Haeun — debuted under GH Entertainment.
When their contracts expired in August, 3YE unfortunately didn't renew and announced their disbandment.
cignature
cignature debuted in 2020 with seven original members — Chaesol, Jee Won, Seline, Belle, Semi, Ye Ah, and Sunn. Just a year after their debut, they immediately experienced re-organization after Ye Ah and Sunn left. They were then replaced by Chloe and Dohee.
They were thriving as a group until Chloe exited the team in October, while Belle took a hiatus to promote under her new girl group, UNIS.
Unfortunately, this led to a disbandment on Dec. 4.
Mirae
After their debut in 2021, Mirae, which initially made noise thanks to former X1 Son Dongpyo, started strong with their first EP, Killa.
Shockingly, the group, except Dongpyo, left DSP Media in July, just three years after their debut. In the same month, the group officially disbanded.
Nature
Nature was launched in 2018 by n.CH Entertainment.
Before they parted ways in April, the group suffered from various lineup changes and health issues, and one member Haru was also involved in a hostess rumor.
Pink Fantasy
In 2018, Pink Fantasy entered the music scene through MyDoll Entertainment. However, after six years, the members expressed their desire to pursue individual activities, leading them to disband in July.
TFN
TFN, formerly T1419, was among the rising boy groups from MLD Entertainment, which was launched in 2021.
But after three years, the team decided to go their separate ways, as Leo, Zairi, Kairi, and Kio returned to Japan.
Vromance
Vromance debuted in 2016 under RBW.
Sadly, in September, the trio ended their group activities after eight years.
Weki Meki
In 2017, Fantagio introduced its new girl group Weki Meki. Right after celebrating their 7th debut anniversary in August, the members failed to conquer the so-called 7-year curse and decided to disband.
