"I am actually a victim of deepfake crimes," she said.
Soyou revealed that she'd been a victim of maliciously altered images even before the term "deepfake" became widespread.
The "Some" singer added that she'd experienced mental distress due to a spread of a deepfake video using her face.
Park Ha Sun, known for her roles in Divorce Camp and Temptation, revealed that she'd found out about her own deepfakes when fans alerted her about them.
"Seeing them made me feel like the blood drained from my body," she said on the show.
The actress explained that she pursued charges against the perpetrator for three years and was floored when she discovered who they were.
The offender, she revealed, was a university professor who'd claimed to be her fan for years. Park explained that they'd attended a fan meeting and used a photo they took of her to create the deepfakes.
