Jisoo's upcoming zombie drama with actor Park Jeong Min had fans invested in the show's photo teasers but in its newly released trailer, netizens directed their attention to Jisoo's acting skills.
The trailer, released January 7, begins with Young Joo (Jisoo) asking for some time away from her soldier boyfriend Jae Yoon (Park Jeong Min).
The trailer unravels into its apocalyptic plot as it reveals a zombie-infested Seoul with comedic zest as the couple attempts to reunite with each other.
The video trended in an online forum, where netizens criticized Jisoo's acting skills.
"Jisoo-yah, can you come back after practicing acting a bit?" one commented.
"Seriously, what are they gonna do about Jisoo's acting," a second netizen shared. "I tried enduring her while watching this, but I felt right away that Jisoo can't act."
"Acting aside, can she fix her pronunciation and vocalization?" another stated.
Others also mentioned how they hoped Jisoo would improve upon her acting chops since her lead role in Snow Drop, while also expressing worry for her upcoming role in Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. Some, however, defended Jisoo, saying how unfair it was to judge her acting skills based on the trailer alone.
