Jisoo's fashion choice in her latest press conference received divided opinions from netizens.
On Jan. 8, Korean netizens gathered in an online forum to discuss Jisoo's latest look at the press conference for her upcoming zombie drama Newtopia. The author (OP) uploaded several press photos showing Jisoo in a purple top from DIOR.
OP claimed that the clothing cost 6.7 million won (equivalent to $4.5K in USD) and that the design didn't match its staggering price.
"How is this 6.7 million won? ($4.5k USD), it doesn't look pretty all of a sudden," they shared. "Jisoo does look pretty, of course."

Netizens agreed with the author, with many pointing out the outfit's lack of flair. However, many looked on the bright side by claiming how the top's obscurity was "overshadowed" by Jisoo's gorgeous visuals.
"Seriously, Jisoo saved it, her face is doing everything," one netizen remarked.
A second one commented, "The dress sucks even without seeing the price."
A third one argued, "Even if Jisoo's the one wearing it, it looks so-so, how is this 6.7 million won?"
Meanwhile, Jisoo's acting skills were also criticized following the release of Newtopia trailer. A portion of the forum was frustrated by the idol's acting sequences, while others, however, were more forgiving due to how unfair it was to judge Jisoo's skills based on the trailer alone.
