K-pop girl group EVERGLOW recently found themselves at the center of controversy after their live broadcast celebrating their sixth anniversary was deleted.
On March 21, the group held a live broadcast on the South Korean social media platform WeVerse to celebrate their anniversary. At one point during the live, the group's members seemingly called out Yuehua Entertainment's CEO and the company itself for their lack of activity. Specifically, Sihyeon mentioned the agency's CEO and requested for a Europe tour.
"When is the comeback? When are we coming back?" E:U, EVERGLOW's main rapper, asked.
"CEO, are you listening? I want a Europe tour!" Sihyeon, the lead vocalist, said.
The group's last release was in June 2024 with the single album Zombie. EVERGLOW has only had two comebacks since late 2021.

The broadcast was meant to connect with fans and celebrate the group's journey since debuting in 2019. However, when fans attempted to rewatch it later, they discovered it had been deleted. Many believe this was done by Yuehua Entertainment after being called out by the group.
"WTH is wrong with that company," one netizen commented.
"To be denied your passion like this, I'm frustrated for them," another netizen wrote.
This incident follows another shocking revelation by member Yiren on March 18. She disclosed that neither she nor her bandmates have received any income from their activities since debuting six years ago. Despite this, she reassured fans of her commitment to performing and preparing for their ongoing "Pulse & Heart" tour in Japan.
"I love the stage very much, but in reality, my income is zero," Yiren said.
EVERGLOW has amassed numerous achievements since debuting, including released hit songs like "Bon Bon Chocolat," "La Di Da," and "Dun Dun," all of which earned millions of streams and views.
