Lee Chanhyuk and fromis_9 Saerom were embroiled in a dating rumor after being spotted together, as reported by the K-media outlet, News1.
The pair started seeing each other in 2021, based on eyewitness accounts, who also claimed that the couple was doing "lovestagram" by sharing photos taken from the same location.

However, when the dating rumor arose, Chanhyuk's label, YG Entertainment, neither confirmed nor denied the alleged couple's status.
"It was difficult to confirm it because it was their private lives," the label stated.
Meanwhile, Pledis Entertainment, the female idol's then-agency didn't issue a statement.

AKMU's Chanhyuk met actress Ha Jisoo for his first album, Umbrella, under his project group, Lee Chan Hyuk Video.
Jisoo particularly got closer to Chanhyuk after filming the double title track, "Dance," where they portrayed a youthful romance as on-screen lovers, as per MMT.

Although they didn't confirm their relationship in 2022, insiders claimed that they continued seeing each other until last year.
However, YG was firm with its initial statement of not being able to confirm nor deny it to respect the singer's private life.
