Rapper and songwriter Song Mino has successfully wrapped up interrogations against him for alleged negligence during his military service.
According to Korean media outlet SBS, the WINNER member was interrogated at the Mapo Police Precinct in Seoul on January 23 for an inquiry into allegations that he took excessive sick leave from the community center where he was assigned as a social service worker.
Song was also accused of manipulating attendance records to cover up his unwarranted absences.

During the questioning, which lasted about four hours, Song insisted he completed his military duties. Police pored through evidence, including examining surveillance footage from the community center, and interviewing Song's supervisor to determine whether he had received special treatment compared to other social service workers.
The idol, who claimed that he had properly fulfilled his service as required and that the absences had been excused for health reasons, doubled down on his claims.
"I properly fulfilled my service. There was no negligence," Song said to police.
Song began his service in March 2023 and was discharged on December 23, 2024.
Under Korean law, all able-bodied men must complete at least 18 months of military service. Those who fail the physical exam for active service but are not severely ill are assigned to alternative 21-month duties as social service personnel at public institutions such as subway stations and government offices.
Song is said to have taken a sick leave on his last day of service.
The Military Manpower Administration launched an investigation last month, with Seoul's Mayor Oh Se Hoon announcing that the government would look into attendance records for social workers following the controversy.
The administration may conduct a second interrogation if they feel it is needed.
