AHOF: Here Are The 9 Final Members Of The New Global Boy Group From 'Universe League' Instagram; X

Following the finale of SBS' Universe League on January 25, JL Gaspar, who earned over 3 million cumulative global votes, became the first Filipino male idol to rank first place in a Korean survival show. He is expected to become the main vocalist and center of the new boy group, AHOF.

Since then, his fancams and pre-debut videos proving his "all-rounder" attributes circulated on social media, gaining him more supporters.

However, there are other reasons he is the "stan attractor," who draws new fans to discover his group through him.

In a post with about 5 million views, Gaspar has become a sizzling topic among netizens for being a K-pop fan. While it's not uncommon for idols to be fans of other artists, he particularly stands out for being a part of various subfandoms.

Subfandoms are often created for certain members, which may also include duo shippers, as per Fanlore.

Upon digging into JL's past social media accounts, even before his much-anticipated debut in PLUUS (a Filipino boy group), he was discovered to be a dedicated Haobinist, a term referring to fans of the duo pairing of ZEROBASEONE's Zhang Hao and Hanbin.

Coincidentally, JL's striking resemblance to this pair earned him the nickname "Haobin's son."

In addition, fans speculated that he was also a fan of Yeobin, the duo pairing of TXT's Yeonjun and Soobin, based on his past retweets.

Further, JL's previous profile header hinted at the possibility that he was a Pocketz, the name for fans of ENHYPEN's Sunoo and Jungwon.

With this, netizens claim he is also a "fudanshi," a Japanese term for male fans who enjoy Boys' Love (BL) stories, which feature romantic pairings between two men.

Meanwhile, among the artists he admires are KATSEYE, Stray Kids Hyunjin, and many more.
