BLACKPINK's Jennie has finally unveiled the music video for her pre-release single, "Love Hangover," on January 31. This track serves as a b-side on her first full-length solo album, Ruby, slated for release on March 7.
Upon its release, the MV sparked a buzz online, especially for featuring Dominic Fike and Riverdale star Charles Melton.
With 6 million views and counting on YouTube, Jennie and Melton navigate the "emotional confusion of trying and failing to let go of someone who feels like both poison and cure," as noted by News1.

Unfortunately, despite garnering rave reviews from Jennie's fans, known as BLINKs and Jensetters, the BLACKPINK member's music video raised eyebrows among Jungkook's fans.
Apparently, according to ARMYs, "Love Hangover" bears a striking resemblance with "Seven" in terms of its concept.
Upon comparing the videos, ARMYs pointed out the overlapping scenes, such as the coffin scene, the chaotic dates, and the emotional walks through the streets at night.
After diving into the details, fans discovered that both music videos were directed by Brad & Pablo under the production company Prettybird, alongside producer Candice Dragonas.
This prompted ARMYs to call out Jennie on X (formerly Twitter) for purportedly copying Jungkook.
"You can copy his work but you can't copy his achievement," a fan alleged.
"She really said copy and paste. I mean I guess you have to copy what actually succeeds," said another ARMY.
Amid the mounting negativity directed at Jennie, BLINKs and Jensetters swiftly jumped to the "Mantra" singer's defense.
"Maybe he (Jungkook) should copy the fact that she (Jennie) wrote, produced, composed, arranged, and participated in the entire creative direction of her solo album instead of relying on scooter oppa," a Jennie stan counterattacked.
Jennie's fans also explained that the directors and producing company behind the two projects have an illustrious reputation for working with top global stars.
As such, the accusations that Jennie plagiarized Jungkook's concept are groundless and lack any credible basis.
