BLACKPINK's Lisa recently revealed that she suffered a massive, bloody injury to her leg during the filming of the music video for her latest single, "Born Again."
Speaking in a live broadcast on Bubble, Lisa said her injury—which she refers to as a "battle wound"—occurred when she was filming an intense scene for "Born Again," featuring Doja Cat and RAYE. Specifically, she fell on a small stage set up for the video, which resulted in a deep, bloody scratch on her leg.
Weeks after the incident, Lisa also took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes shots from the "Born Again" music video shoot. Among the images was a close-up of the fresh wound, which appeared more severe than she initially described.
Despite her injury, Lisa said she continued the shoot without causing any delays. It was unclear when exactly the injury occurred. The music video for "Born Again" was released on Feb. 7, earning praise from global audiences for its visually stunning sets and catchy tune.

Lisa's Music Career
Lisa's "Born Again" comes as she is gearing up for the release of Alter Ego, her first full-length solo album, on Feb. 28. The BLACKPINK crooner made her solo debut in September 2021 with the single album LALISA. She followed it with a second single album titled Money. Both albums performed well commercially.
Last year, Lisa released the lead single "Rockstar" from her debut album Alter Ego. The song quickly became the singer's number-one single on the Billboard Global Excl.
US chart and peaked at the top five in several Asian countries. The following singles, "New Woman" featuring Rosalia and "Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)," also achieved great success.
Outside of her music career, Lisa established her own management company, LLOUD, through which she now releases her solo work in partnership with RCA Records.
