2NE1's Park Bom has repeatedly claimed to be married to popular South Korean actor Lee Min Ho, despite him denying knowing her personally. This led Korean netizens to express concern about the singer's mental health.

The controversy began in September last year when Bom posted side-by-side photos of herself and Min-ho as if they were engaged in a video chat. She caption the photo, "Husband ♥." At the time, Korean netizens later speculated that the 2NE1 crooner was participating in an online trend that involved editing photos of oneself with their favorite celebrities to mimic a video call.

The rumors settled down after a while but reignited after Bom again posted more photos of herself and Min-ho on a secondary Instagram account and continued referring to him as her husband. In both cases, the singer's agency, D-Nation Entertainment, clarified that she was only expressing her admiration for the actor.

However, concerns arose about her mental health after she posted on Thursday that everything she claimed in previous posts was "true." This prompted Min-ho's agency to release an official statement denying that the actor personally knew Bom.

In response, the singer took to Instagram to post that she was "actually alone" and claimed Min-Ho asked her to post that message.

"I now confirm that I am single," Bom added.

Korean netizens are now expressing concern that Bom might be going through some mental health issues after she still insisted that she had been married to Min-Ho.

"Everyone said that they need to understand Park Bom, but they can't understand everything just because she's sick," one commenter wrote.

"Park Bom seems to be in serious need of treatment. People around her must also feel that something is strange, but I hope they take action for Park Bom's sake before it gets any worse," another comment read.

The controversy comes as 2NE1 prepares for their "Welcome Back" Encore concerts in Seoul on April 12 and 13. It is unclear how much Park Bom would be involved in the concert following the incident.
