The End Of Walter White: As 'Breaking Bad' Nears Series Finale, Check Out The Unofficial Albuquerque, New Mexico Locations Tour!

Although AMC's masterpiece "Breaking Bad" nears its end with the final season set to premiere in August, fans can still revisit the show in a way by touring Albuquerque, New Mexico and all the series locations.

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Anna Gunn, who plays Skyler on the show, talks about her love of New Mexico and the tourist boost since the show's premiere.

"There's so much art: visual, dance, theatre. All of a sudden, as a child, I was going to the opera for the first time in my life," recounts the 44-year-old actress.

"I'm certain it steered me in the career direction I eventually chose."

But it is Albuquerque specifically which has received much love and attention from visitors, thanks to the many locations the series shot in near and around the city.

"There's actually now an unofficial tour, which is extraordinary," continues Gunn.

"People make a day of it. When we were shooting at the car wash or the white house, the lovely people who own the white house, Fran and Louis, would tell us how people now knock on their door from all over the world."

Television viewers will get another dosage of such sights as "Breaking Bad" makes it return August 11.

Bryan Cranton, who plays the iconic Walter White, believes that the show "ended the way [show creator] Vince Gilligan wanted it to...which is exactly what I wanted."

During his recent Reddit interview, Cranton also praised Albuquerque in characterizing the show in such an important way.

"Albuquerque became a very important part of the show and I really enjoyed my time there. I look forward to going back at some point. You know, strolling central in Nob Hill, Church St. Cafe in Old Town, El Pinto is another place I go. And I ride for miles along the Bosque."
