Red Hot Chili Peppers Singer Scuffles With Rolling Stones' Bodyguard [VIDEO]: Agressive Security Guard Tackles Anthony Kiedis Outside Hotel [WATCH]

Red Hot Chili Peppers singer Anthony Kiedis was tackled by a Rolling Stones security guard. Yes, really. See a full video of the incident below.

The Anthony Kiedis take-down happened outside the Philadelphia hotel where the Rolling Stones were staying. It was almost a Battle of the Bands...literally.

The Stones' bodyguard tackled the Red Hot Chili Peppers singer as he approached the Four Seasons in Philadelphia.

As Kiedis walked toward the door of the Four Seasons holding hands with a woman, a guard in a black suit approached the duo.

The guard extends both hands to stop Kiedis...then dove at his legs, tackling him. The two got in a scuffle.

Kiedis was briefly in a headlock.

One shocked onlooker shouted, "That's the lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers."

Kiedis yelled, "I live here!"

Kiedis and the guard seemed straighten out the confusion. They worked it out, shaking hands before Kiedis went into the hotel.

The Rolling Stones emerged from the front door minutes later. They were in town for a two-night stint in Philadelphia.

Kiedis issued a brief, funny statement on the incident. " "I love the Rolling Stones," he said.
