Dwyane Wade's Son, Zaire Wade, Is One Of The Top Fifth Grade Basketball Players In The Country [Video]

Dwyane Wade's son, Zaire, was ranked one of the nation's best fifth grade basketball prospects after his presence at the John Lucas Future of the Games camp this summer.

A recent YouTube video showcasing some of the left-handed Zaire's best moves has gone viral, and more basketball scouts around the country are taking interest in Wade's progeny.

The 10-year-old's game is rather developed for such a rail-thin fifth grader, but he played so well at the John Lucas Future of the Games camp this summer, it's hard to overlook his obvious talent.

His highlight reel from the camp below has over half a million hits on YouTube and counting, and it showcases a nice all-around game like his father.

While he still struggles to get the rotation you'd want on a long-range shot, Zaire appears comfortable pulling up to launch 3-pointers, and he's accurate too.

He's also inherited his father's lightening quick first-step (remember when Wade was nicknamed Flash and not WoW?).

Although Zaire has shown he's got some game, he should never mistake what his old man can do. Wade and the Heat just captured their second NBA Championship in a row last week, and that makes three for Wade after winning the 2006 NBA Finals MVP.

But there are some slight differences in the games of Dwyane Wade, 31, and Zaire Wade, 10: shoes.

Since Dwyane Wade switched from Nike's Jordan brand last year to accept a contract with the Chinese shoe manufacturer, Li-Ning, you'd think Zaire would want to rock his old man's kicks.

He probably wouldn't even have to pay.

But watching the video from the John Lucas Futures of the Game camp, it's become abundantly clear Wade's son is wearing the newest iteration of LeBron James' shoe line. We wonder how Dwayne, excuse us, "WoW" or "3", feels about that?

But Dwyane can take a joke when it's coming from his kid. During the 2011 NBA playoffs, when Chicago's Taj Gibson unleashed an explosive dunk in a backpedaling Wade's face, he heard all sorts of grief from Zaire about getting dunked on.

Here's the dunk in question:

And here's what Zaire did to mess with his pop!

Ah well, like father like son, we suppose. Wade's son is something else though, so check out his mature ball-handling skills, solid footwork, good passing ability, advanced shooting form and leadership qualities his father can be proud about.
