Now that more iPhone 5S rumors about its release are hugely becoming the talk of the town, some retailers are now offering a slashed down iPhone 5 price.

Popular network carriers and retail mobile shops are now offering discounted rates and promotional sales to cut down the iPhone 5 price. For instance, Mashable reported that AT&T is now offering a limited promotion, with their 505 discount for the iPhone 5 price.

The latest AT&T promo sales actually involve those mobile phones they are selling for prices between $99 and $199.99. Aside from marking down to half the iPhone 5 price, some other mobile devices which has a limited 50% discount from AT&T are iPhone 4s, HTC One, Blackberry Z10, Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Active, among others.

However, customers can only take advantage of this lower iPhone 5 price and mobile phone sales promotion from AT&T is they will sign up for the 2-year contract online. Others can do trade-in of their old mobile devices in-store but the phone should be at most 3 years old.

Furthermore, aside from the iPhone 5 price discount from AT&T, other popular retail shop such as Best Buy and Walmart are also offering huge discounts for their Apple mobile devices and other branded smartphones.  

WalMart has cut its iPhone 5 price by $60 making the 16-GB version of the phone available for only $129. Its iPhone 4S also offers discount as customers can get $39 off the original pricing. However, the promo offering from Walmart is only applicable to those who will sign a 2-year contract with a major network carrier.

Moreover, LA Times reported about the discount offered by Best Buy for its iPhone 5 price. Apple's current generation of iPhone gets a discount of $50. Aside from the discounted iPhone 5 price, Best Buy also opens promotional sales offer and discounted price on various Android devices it is selling.
