Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian with an $800,000 black diamond ring after she gave birth to daughter North West and is expected to marry her in September in Paris, The Sun reports.

While sources close to Kanye West say the $800,000 engagement ring was a push present for Kim Kardashian's performance in the delivery room, the 'Yeezus' rapper is expected to get her another ring more suitable for engagement.

The actual cost of the of the black diamond ring is $768,600 and the details of the engagement accessory feature tiger stripes and a diamond-filled band.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expected to get married in September in Paris.

The couple was held up in Cedars Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills, Calif. for four days this week and spent thousands of dollars on medical bills and accommodation, The Sun also reports.

They rented three deluxe suites with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, flat screen television sets, leather sofas, dining areas, marble bathrooms and personal chefs who were on call 24/7, according to The Sun.
