Happy Wheels 2 was released after the immense success of the original version of the gory yet fun physics-based driving game. A Happy Wheels iOS app will be hitting the App Store before summer ends.

Many gaming websites such as Silver Games, Much Games and Just Online Games are now offering the free demo version of Happy Wheels 2, but it only provides limited amount of tracks and characters for players to enjoy. The full version of Happy Wheels 2, on the other hand, offers no restrictions at all with regards to the characters and driving tracks. Happy Wheels 2's full version is only available to its official site, Total Jerk Face.

The Happy Wheels iOS app is expected to arrive before the summer of 2013 ends, although no official release date has been announced yet.

According to the Wikia page created for the game, the Happy Wheels iOS app was first showcased during the PAX East 2013 event held in Boston, New York. It was reported that an Android app version of Happy Wheels will also be developed soon after the release of the iOS app.

The playable demo of the iOS app was available at PAX. It contained only a few levels and characters of the game, such as the Wheelchair Guy, Irresponsible Dad, and Effective Shopper. The Wikia page of the game noted that the gameplay for the Happy Wheels iOS app will be similar to the original game but with major changes in the controls, since iOS devices do not have keyboards. The in-game characters on the Happy Wheels iOS app will be controlled using on-screen buttons.

The Happy Wheels iOS app will be available to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users. It was also confirmed that the game app will  tie up with Game Center and iCade controller, as stated in its Wikia page.
