Chris Brown Officially Charged With Hit-And-Run, Facing Jail Time: Denies On Twitter, Says Accuser Wanted 'Payday'

Chris Brown has been charged with a criminal hit and run. And due to a possible probation violation, he might face jail time over the incident.

Chris Brown reacted to the hit-and-run accusations on Twitter, posting "It's not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars). This is really ridiculous." Brown also his profile picture to the girl's car he allegedly hit.

The Los Angeles City Attorney has now officially filed two criminal charges against Brown for a criminal hit-and-run and driving without a valid license.

Brown lashed out against the accusations on Twitter, posting a long rant of Tweets. Observe:

Last month, Chris Brown was in a fender-bender and rear-ended a Mercedes. He allegedly refused to give the other driver his license, gave her fake insurance information, and fled the scene, speeding off.

Brown has now been charged with a hit-and-run for leaving without exchanging information. Brown could face up to four years of jail time in the case, because it would be a probation violation in the Brown-Rihanna beating case.

The case will be referred to the L.A. County D.A. for persecution.
